What's New in 26.2
Version 26.2 is coming. It finds the positions in a swing for you, keeps the club in frame, and puts the numbers you coach from where you can see them.
Automatic swing phase detection
Golf swing phase detection finds the key positions in a golf swing and places the bookmarks itself.
Start of Take Away, Top of Swing, Impact and the rest are placed for you. It works on a golf swing recording with motion capture data from a camera tagged as a face-on angle. With a usable club track it places all ten positions; without one it estimates the three main ones from body pose. It can also find nothing usable in a clip. The article lists the messages it shows and what to do about each.

Auto-framing with the club in view
Auto-framing zooms the video in on the athlete automatically. Version 26.2 adds a second mode.
Subject + objects keeps the athlete and the swung implement in frame together, so the club stays visible from address to follow-through. It is the default when you turn auto-framing on.
Subject frames the athlete alone, for when you want them as large as possible.
The Key Metrics column
The Key Metrics column puts five or six numbers of your choosing in a column between the video and the data boxes, where they stay in view as you move between swings and students.
You choose the metrics once and can save your own sets. It switches on per view mode, from a checkbox in the Layout menu. Needs a licence that includes the column.
On-demand motion capture components
Optional features . From 26.2 the motion capture models and the GPU acceleration files are no longer in the installer. You download them once from inside the app, on the Optional Features settings page.
If you use motion capture, expect a one-time download after upgrading.
